Hasan Alsawaf for Senator – District #22
We must root out corruption, nepotism, cronyism, and irresponsible, unbridled spending in our State Government. In order to have a strong economy, we must have a clean, strong government foundation free of corruption. It should be the goal of every elected official to create a State Government that is transparent, accountable, and free of corruption. Let’s start by getting rid of political insiders which brought us to where we are.
The people of Rhode Island must not bear the consequences of bad, perhaps corrupt decisions which led to the “38 studios” debacle. The time has come for an investigation which should involve Federal authorities, and this should take place before any payments are made.
Our senior citizens are the bedrock of our freedom and out greatness. Let’s insure that we pay special attention to their needs.
We should say yes to immigration, but say no to invasion. Our borders must be better protected.
I am for excellence in education. We will tackle the common core together.
I am not a career politician. I am new to politics, but it has come to my knowledge that a cheap tactic has been used in Rhode Island politics by sending last minute fliers, letters, and advertisements that are negative in nature, and it is done so that it will not allow time for a response. Please don’t let these cheap tactics deceive you. I will be more than happy to answer any of your questions.
I will bring change and fresh blood and ideas to our State Government.
If you’re fed up with insiders . . . I am NOT one.
If you’re fed up with corruption . . . I am for integrity and accountability. If you’re fed up with the lawyers. . . I am a Doctor. If you’re fed up with the status quo . . . I am your change.
I want to thank the many people who I have met along the campaign trail and at our meet and greet events and all the people in District 22.
